Carnival kicks off two-week West Coast sale

From Monday, August 20, through Monday, September 3, Carnival will hold a two-week sale on dozens of selected three- to eight-day sailings to Baja Mexico and the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles and San Diego during the rest of 2007 into January 2008.

During the sale you'll be able to save up to $100 per stateroom on short voyages and up to $200 per stateroom on long voyages. You may also be able to land a "best available upgrade" within the same cabin category.

Rates for three-day cruises will start at $249 per passenger for an inside cabin, four-day cruises at $199 (that's not a typo), five-day cruises as low as $279, and seven- and eight-day cruises at $499 ($599 for ocean view and $729 for a balcony). Government taxes and fees are additional, and you must make a full deposit when you book. Sale fares are based on double occupancy, and only new bookings qualify.

To book or for more information, call a travel agent or Carnival at 888/CARNIVAL and request fare code CPBA.
