Looking for a simple way to find an Antarctica cruise? Try Adventure Life

The tour company Adventure Life, which represents all cruising options to Antarctica, is offering a new web-based Antarctica search engine that should make it easier to locate and book your cruise to the frozen continent online.

The search engine allows you to choose the criteria that are most important to you, such as class of ship, dates, length of the cruise, prices, or desired itinerary. You can also check availability, and then, if you wish, book your cruise online at the Adventure Life website at no additional cost.

And there are plenty of choices to be made. Antarctica cruises range from those aboard refurbished research ships and ice-breakers to luxury expedition cruises with five-star amenities. For instance, I clicked on "Antarctic Peninsula" and "Expedition Cruise Ship" and came up with seven options, including the very reasonably priced ms Andrea from Elegant Cruises; if you book either the January 8 or February 4, 2008, 11-day cruise on the Andrea by September 30, 2007, you can save $500 per passenger.

To check out the search engine yourself, click here. You can also contact Adventure Life at 800/344-6118.
