Take a Holland America cruise, get free parking

Here's a nice perk for those cruising out of San Diego to Mexico, Hawaii, or Tahiti and who book an ocean-view stateroom on Holland America this fall and winter: free parking near the cruise terminal.

For instance, with the free parking perk, you could save $70 if you drive to the San Diego cruise terminal for a week-long Mexican Riviera voyage. (Outside staterooms start at $599 per person for those cruises.)

If you take a 10-day cruise at $899, you could save $95 on parking. On a 15-day cruise to Hawaii and back ($1,599 per person and up), the savings could amount to $145. And for a 30-day cruise to Hawaii, Tahiti, and the Marquesas, where outside staterooms start at $5,525, the parking perk could save you $290.
