General Tours World Traveler offers early bird discount for small ship cruise bookings

Celebrating 60 years in business, General Tours World Traveler has announced its Diamond Anniversary Early Bird Special for all 35 of its 2008 small ship cruise offerings around the world.

If you book a cruise by September 30, 2007, you can save $600 per couple on any cruise. Voyages span the globe from Russia to Egypt, Europe to Asia and South America.

New offerings in 2008 include a dozen "Affordable Luxury Cruising" European river voyages with Peter Deilmann ships, which include all meals, port charges and sightseeing excursions -- yet are priced lower than 2007 sailings. With the Early Bird Special, prices start as low as $1,099 per person for an eight-day luxury cruise along the Danube aboard the five-star mv Mozart.

And General Tours' new Singles Ahoy! program features no singles supplement on 43 sailings on the Rhine, Moselle, and Elbe rivers. Solo travelers can stay in a private outside stateroom for the same price as the per person twin share rate.
